There was a need of developing an incident management and continuous improvement solution for one of our clients. They wanted an application that would utilise their existing Microsoft Ecosystem and create an application which would discard their current manual activity and transform it online.The application provided a platform to almost 600+ user who can create incidents through 8 steps which included the improvements and lessons learned.

Features

With the use of Powerapps Canvas, SharePoint and PowerBI, we provided a couple of features to the solution:

Intuitive designs

Easy navigation through screens

Email notifications on each section for the stakeholders

Detailed PowerBI reports

Home screen

This screen lists down the number of sites that the application has through which the user can navigate
It also contains the section for the reports clicking on which the user will navigate to PowerBI
Clicking on each site will enable the user to add view further options under that site
There's a notification section in the header which helps the user to see what has been assigned to him

Incident Registration

This screen is a section of the application where the user will be able to add their incidents
The screen is divided into tabs for easily switching between the section and fill up the things easily
The application has 2 sections, one for minor incidents and one for major
Each and every detail regarding to this incident is designed in a way that the user can either navigate between the tabs or can access via the accordions

NCR Registration

This one is the process for the major incident which contains 8 steps in detail
Each step is a complicated process displayed in a form
The user need to complete each process, check the entries and move forward, we took care of all the validations
Once the steps are done, the user can mark it as complete to view the results

Open Issues Listing

This screen is to list down all the incidents in a grid which are entered in the system for quick access
Gallery component with a limit of 10 per page as the pagination was used
The user can view and edit any form which is submitted or saved as draft from this screen
